ACT Community Protection Medal - 2004
On Friday 12 March 2004 Bill Wood, the Minister for Police and
Emergency Services, awarded this year's recipients of the ACT
Community Protection Medal at a special ceremony at the ACT
Legislative Assembly, as part of Canberra Day celebrations.
The medal was established in 2002, it is an annual award given to
one recipient from ACT Policing, ACT Fire Brigade, ACT Rural Fire
Service, ACT Ambulance Service and the ACT State Emergency Service
and rewards members for sustained distinguished or outstanding
service to the community.
The 2004 recipients are:

Sergeant Ross Woodyatt (ACT Policing)

Officer David Sutton (ACT Ambulance Service)

Senior Fire fighter John Stafford (ACT Fire Brigade)

Officer Matthew Dutkiewicz (ACT Bush Fire Service)

Deputy Commander Stephen Loiterton (ACT State Emergency
Service).
