A.C.T. Low Humidity Events

During November 1996 the A.C.T. had three low humidity events: the night of Wed Nov 13; the afternoon of Tue Nov 26; and the morning of Thur Nov 28. This latter was remarkable in that the humidity at Tuggeranong (Southern Canberra) at 9 am was 8%. This is one of the lowest morning RHs recorded. If we look at our weather database and pull out all low RH events, they are clustered around certain summers, some of which are certainly what we call "bad summers". The main clusters are in:
