Gungahlin Volunteer Bushfire & Emergency Service Brigade

The Gungahlin Volunteer Bushfire & Emergency Service Brigade commenced operations on Sunday 9 February 1997.

The Brigades First Group Captain was Kevin Bolton with Brian O'Connor as the Bushfire Captain and Mike Bolitho as the Emergency Service Commander.
