The Volunteer Brigades Association Annual Bushfire Fighters Field Day 1998

The Volunteer Brigades Association Annual Bushfire Fighters Field Day was held on Sunday 25 October 1998 at the historic Lanyon Homestead , this year Southern Districts Volunteer Bushfire Brigade were the hosts.

The Field Day provided a fitting start to Fire Awareness Week in the A.C.T. which was officially launched by the Minister for Justice and Community Safety, Mr Gary Humphries.

Crews from the Parks Brigade and a contingent of NSW crews provided some additional competition for the local volunteer crews.
