Work continued on back burns for the Bendora Fire. No aerial support was provided due to the low cloud all day. In the afternoon the Stockyard Spur and Gingera Fires joined and became known as the Stockyard fire. This fire continued advancing towards the Goodradigbee River to the west.

There was no suppression due to the inaccessibility of the terrain. Some progress was made on the back burns, with additional dozer lines being placed to further increase containment lines. Asset protection work was expanded, for example around communication facilities and historic sites. The Australian Army arrived to assist.
